The Daily Athenaeum

WVU’s student-run newspaper, The Daily Athenaeum, was ranked Number 14 by the Princeton Review for college newspapers, and I wrote for the Arts & Entertainment section of this paper from Aug. 2014 to Jan. 2016. Below are a few clips.

ASF Lead Tree Walk – The foresters did not leaf one tree unnamed.

Discover Life in WV preview – This combination of news and outdoors was a perfect blend of previewing a fun event. Since I actually went, read about my experience here.

WVU Core Arboretum Bird Walk – My 6 a.m. wake-up call was the song of an Eastern Towhee.

Tent City 2.0 – Tent City returned to WVU’s campus the week of Homecoming, but this year, it became charitable.

Riviera – The up-and-coming band got the chance to perform at Warped Tour.

“Happy Mistakes” CD Review by Heffron Drive – Kendall Schmidt, one of the members, actually shared this review. It got over 7,000 likes on Facebook.

Taxation Without Representation – If I can’t vote, why do I pay taxes? Written as 17-year-old Jillian.
